Security Officer - Clifton Park NY - $100 SIGN ON BONUS!

We are currently building a candidate pool for potential upcoming Security Officer openings that may become available as business needs evolve. These opportunities may arise on all shifts (1st, 2nd, 3rd; full-time or part-time) Clifton Park, NY. Once assigned, these positions offer set schedules, providing consistency and stability for the right candidates, with a pay rate of $17.50 an hour.

Sign-On Bonus: If positions were to become available, $100 will be awarded to the candidates who are chosen for the positions and successfully completes 30 days of employment with no serious policy violations or attendance issues. Please be advised to be eligible for the sign-on bonus, applications must be submitted on or before July 31, 2026.

Reliable transportation is required as public transit may not align with shift hours. The available positions will also require a valid NYS Driver's License and applicants must be able to meet the Securitas Safe Drive program requirements as they will be utilizing a client vehicle for patrols. CPR training will be provided if candidate does not have current certification. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: • Control access to the facility and monitor vehicle drop-offs and pickups. • Sit in the guard shack to oversee and manage the secure entry and exit of trucks. • Conduct driving patrols throughout the property (Safe-Drive certification required). • Log all transactions and activities both on paper and in computer systems. • Monitor for suspicious activity and ensure site policies are strictly followed. • Write clear, professional reports on incidents and daily activities. • Handle interactions with visitors and staff, including managing difficult situations. • Perform a large portion of duties outdoors in varying weather conditions. • Operate security-related technology and systems. ________________________________________ Qualifications: • Valid driver’s license (must be able to pass Safe-Drive certification). • Strong customer service skills with the ability to enforce site rules firmly and professionally. • Excellent written communication skills for report writing. • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team. • Able to remain calm and professional in high-pressure or confrontational situations. • Willingness to work outdoors for extended periods. • Prior security experience is preferred but not required. ________________________________________ Why Apply? • College tuition assistance (for eligible employees). • Set schedules once placed at a site. • Weekly pay and competitive benefits (for eligible employees). • Hands-on support and guidance through the entire NYS licensing process. • First access to new openings as they become available. • A great option for individuals seeking stable, long-term work with growth potential; leadership roles are typically filled internally. ________________________________________
