If so inclined, reach out in-person for rapid, direct and personal response.Benefits/Perks:Competitive PayStandard Work WeekPaid Vacation and HolidayProduction Performance BonusAdvancement Opportunity Available WithinOngoing Training OpportunitiesRetirement Plan (after intro period)A successful FASTSIGNS Graphic Designer/Sign Production team member will:Create computer-generated full-color graphics and/or vinyl output that can be printed and mounted to a substrate or weeded, cut and appliedComplete or modify designs from customer drawings, files, or exact output of customer-provided design for output to mediaDetermine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, select style and size of type, and arrange layout based upon available space, aesthetic design, and production requirements.Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to output. Ensure correct material is used for each job and output device settings are accurateMaintain customer logo library; convert graphic filesFollow a layout to place computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphic image(s) on a predetermined substrate or mediumPrepare substrates for vinyl application to include cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, etcWeed excess vinyl from computer-cut images. Weeding techniques vary with size, type of vinyl, and complexity of imagesOperate and maintain printer(s)Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production by accurately reading and interpreting a Work Order and then proofing for errors or unacceptable standardsPerform finishing operations such as laminating and/or mounting of printed pieces to various substrates (PVC, ACM, ACR, etc.)Report inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the center manager/production manager or franchisee.Clean and maintain storage areasIdeal qualifications for FASTSIGNS Sign Graphic Designer/Sign Production team member will include:Experience having worked for a SIGN COMPANY1-2 years of graphic design experienceHigh School diploma or equivalentProficient in Adobe Illustrator and/or Adobe PhotoshopAbility to prioritize jobs, multi-task, and work autonomouslyDetermine the best output method based on the customer's needsSit and view a computer screen for long periods (4 hours or more)Ability to work under pressure to output high volume of high-quality signage productsAbility to lift 50 or more poundsFlexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back and forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrateBe willing to install signage at customer location(s)Do you enjoy working with people?
