MRI Technologist

Overview Radiologic Technologist (MRI) responsible for delivering high‑quality imaging services in a multidisciplinary, fast‑paced clinical environment. Location & Schedule UCHealth Eastview Medical Center, Colorado Springs, Colorado Full‑time, 72 hours per pay period (bi‑weekly) – Weekend Days shift. Compensation $40.40 – $56.56 per hour, dependent on relevant experience. Minimum Requirements Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program. Registered as a Technologist (RT) and registered in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or eligible for registry completion within 12 months via ARRT Radiography or ARMRIT. State licensure, if required by law. Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification. ARRT Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) Registered Radiologic Technologist. American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist certification. BLS or CPR certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross with card in hand before start date; card valid for at least 60 days after hire. Responsibilities Provide top‑of‑scope practice in direct patient care and deliver imaging and radiologic procedures. Value a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes. Precept new staff and contribute to a fast‑paced, innovative clinical environment. Ensure safety and quality at the point of care. Review patient history, initiate CT images per physician order, and prioritize patient education to ensure mutual understanding and cooperation. Safely administer contrast media or related medications while monitoring patient condition. Respond to and report changes in patient condition as appropriate. Implement techniques for image clarity, quality control, and equipment functionality based on established radiology best practices.
