Service Coordinator

A growing building envelope contractor is looking to add an experienced Service Coordinator to its team. This is an important role within the Service department, supporting the field team while acting as a key point of contact for customers and clients. The ideal candidate will have previous experience coordinating service work within construction, glazing, windows, building envelope or another related trade. Direct window/glazing experience is preferred but not essential - the key is having a strong understanding of service operations, scheduling, customer communication and administration. Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule service calls and field technicians Manage communication between customers, clients, field teams and management Follow up on outstanding service requests and ensure issues keep moving Maintain accurate service records, schedules and job information Communicate updates to customers and manage expectations Assist with organizing materials, manpower and site requirements Track open service items through to completion Handle day-to-day administrative tasks within the Service department Proactively identify issues and ensure they are followed up Support the Service Manager / Director with keeping the department organized and running efficiently Experience Previous experience in a service coordination, service administration or construction coordination role Strong communication and customer service skills Excellent organization and follow-up Comfortable managing multiple service requests at the same time Able to prioritize and manage your own workload Proactive approach and strong attention to detail Comfortable dealing with customers, field employees and internal teams Construction, glazing, windows, doors or building-envelope experience is beneficial but not essential Strong computer and administrative skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Just Construction Recruitment
