Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This position involves various shift schedules, including evenings and nights, with a focus on delivering exceptional clinical support.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and prioritize patient condition upon arrival, ensuring timely and appropriate care.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physicians' orders and established protocols.
• Monitor patient status continuously, recognizing changes and escalating concerns promptly.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all patient interactions and treatments.
• Comply with hospital policies and industry regulations, including certifications and licensing requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid California RN license, uploaded within the last 2 weeks via Nursys.
• Possess current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from AHA or ARC.
• Have at least 2 years of recent ER experience demonstrating proficiency in acute care.
• Demonstrate EPIC electronic medical record system experience.
• Be able to work flexible shifts, including 12-hour evening or night shifts on a variable schedule.
• Comply with travel and local hiring policies, including the 50-mile radius rule if applicable.
