We are currently offering:

• $8,000 Sign-On Bonus
• Flexible scheduling options including:
• 5x8-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM)
• 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Position Summary: As a Respiratory Therapist at Cottage Hospital, you will provide physician-directed respiratory care treatments and diagnostic services to patients of all ages. You will play a key role in assessing respiratory conditions, administering therapies, managing ventilators, and collaborating closely with physicians and nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosols, medications, and other respiratory treatments
• Provide critical care support including ventilator and airway management
• Perform pulmonary function studies, arterial blood gas sampling, oximetry, and other diagnostic procedures
• Assess patient respiratory status and communicate findings with the healthcare team
• Accurately document treatments, responses, and patient progress
• Maintain respiratory therapy equipment and ensure a safe, organized work environment
• Participate in on-call coverage as needed

Qualifications:

Education: Associates or better.

Experience: Current New Hampshire Respiratory Therapist license. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy.

Previous experience in a healthcare setting, with strong critical care skills, is a plus.

Licenses & Certifications: Respiratory Care. Basic Life Support, ACLS preferred.
