Lab Technician

Seeking a Lab Technician to join a company in Latrobe, PA.

Role Overview

An opportunity is available for a Lab Technician within a fast-paced food and beverage manufacturing environment. This role involves performing quality assurance tests on the production floor, including analytical and microbiological testing, to support product release and ensure compliance with all standards.


Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of required analytical laboratory tests on in-process product samples and finished goods.
• Conduct testing on product and packaging materials, as well as incoming products.
• Utilize testing protocols ranging from basic benchtop wet chemistries, such as pH, to more extensive instrumentation, including GC and UV-Vis.
• Perform government compliance testing on required products prior to release.
• Execute QA tests, pressure checks, and Hawk UV analysis.
• Assist with product holds, audits, and special projects as necessary.

Required Qualifications

Education: A four-year science degree in Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Physics, or a related field is required.

Experience: This position requires 0-1 years of industry experience.

Technical Skills: Some analytical experience, which could include GC and UV-Vis, is preferred.
