In this role you will ensure awesomeness; you will help build and deliver fully automated, faster and more reliable CI pipelines that lets teams ship without breaking the teams next to them. This role directly supports and enables a critical business line, so your first focus is the functional and operational improvements that most directly speed up their build, test, and deployment experience. The work you do will compound across other products as well. You will deliver against a shared roadmap, own concrete epics end to end, and instrument the metrics that show whether the CI experience is actually getting better. You will work across a complex delivery ecosystem, multi-stage release pipelines and Cloud and Robot environments, where correctness has measurable consequences. If you like building the infrastructure other engineers depend on, and doing it on systems that ship real defense technology, this is the role for you!What You Will DoDesign and implement secure CI/CD pipelines, enabling automated build, test, and deployment software across multiple enclaves.Collaborate and partner with software engineers to optimize the build and test processes, reduce deployment friction, and integrate security controls early in the development lifecycle.Build Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks (Terraform, Ansible, or similar) to provision and configure development, test, and production environments that meet DISA STIG and NIST 800-53 requirements.Create monitoring and logging infrastructure to validate support security operations, troubleshooting, and incident response.Required QualificationsStrong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similarProficiency in a variety of programming languages such as Python, C++, and Rust.Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals: design patterns, testing, version control, and debugging.Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code using Crossplane, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar tools.Working knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Docker Swarm).Understanding of Linux system administration, networking, and scripting (Python, Bash).Desired QualificationsExperience deploying and maintaining systems in classified DoD or IC environments.Experience with CircleCI, GitOps workflows and declarative infrastructure management.Proficiency with observability and monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Splunk).US Salary Range$191,000 - $253,000 USDThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
