Join our dynamic team as a Driver for FedEx Ground Routes, where your skills in commercial driving and route delivery will power our logistics operations. Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles such as box trucks, shuttle vans, and other heavy-duty trucks to complete daily delivery routes

• Load and unload packages efficiently using pallet jacks or hand trucks, ensuring proper handling and secure placement

• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns

• Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery confirmation records

• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly

• Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies to ensure safe transportation at all times

• Assist with warehouse duties when necessary, including moving freight or equipment within the facility

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., Class B or C) with a clean driving record

• Proven experience in commercial driving, route delivery, or shuttle driving roles

• Mechanical knowledge of commercial vehicles, including manual transmission operation and basic troubleshooting skills

• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment is a plus

• Strong communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members

• Ability to load & unload freight efficiently while adhering to safety standards

• Knowledge of heavy haul operations or heavy equipment operation is advantageous but not required

• Physical ability to move freight, lift packages, and perform vehicle inspections regularly
