Mobile Truck & Trailer Mechanic
At Alpha Transport Inc., we take pride in being one of the largest petroleum transporters in the Western U.S. To keep our fleet running safely and efficiently.
We're looking for a skilled and safety-focused Mobile Truck & Trailer Mechanic to maintain, diagnose, and repair our fleet of fuel-hauling trucks and trailers. If you're passionate about diesel mechanics, work well in a fast-paced environment, and want to be part of a team that values quality and safety, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
- Diagnose & troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on fuel-hauling trucks and trailers.
- Perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment in peak condition.
- Conduct major & minor repairs, including brake systems, suspension, tires, air, and electrical systems.
- Handle minor diesel engine repairs and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Maintain an organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely repairs and minimize downtime.
Requirements:
- Experience in truck & trailer maintenance (fuel tanker experience a plus!).
- Valid driver's license (CDL preferred but not required).
- Own basic tools to perform job functions.
- Basic computer skills to log work and complete reports.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Welding experience (a plus but not required).
- Safety-oriented mindset with attention to detail.
