RN Evening Supervisor

RN Evening SupervisorWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our evening team as a Supervisor at Central Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Syracuse, New York. As an Evening Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our residents, collaborating with the health care team, and ensuring the smooth operation of our facility.Responsibilities:Supervise and Coordinate Care: Keep the Director of Nursing (DON) informed of resident care problems or issues and participate in the development of a plan of action to correct them.Collaborate with Health Care Team: Interact with other members of the health care team regarding any resident needs and inform the DON of changes in resident's condition, activities on the units, and employee/family concerns on a daily basis.Ensure Resident Care: Assure the shift's resident care completion in conjunction with the unit Nurse Managers and conduct unit rounds at least twice each shift to ensure that environmental shift change rounds are carried out daily.Deliver Customer Service: Ensure customer service by assuring that all residents and family members/visitors are treated fairly and with kindness, dignity, and respect.Maintain Accurate Records: Assure that nursing records are in compliance with both CPRNC and regulatory standards to ensure quality documentation, as demonstrated by the documentation audit.Medication Administration: Perform medication administration audits to insure a safe and effective medication administration system.Staffing Coordination: Take all staff call-ins and assure appropriate staffing for the next shift when the staffing coordinator is unavailable.Additional Responsibilities: Perform any other requirements as deemed by the Director of Nursing.At Central Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, we pride ourselves on providing a home away from home for our residents.
