Fishkill Center for Rehabilitation Nursing , a 160-bed Skilled Nursing Facility in Beacon, NY, is looking for dynamic Dietary Aides to join our growing team. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ø  Handles food and equipment according to sanitation policies and  procedures;

Ø  Observes proper food handling techniques. Ensures proper setup of food   for tray line and/or dining rooms;

Ø  Delivers and retrieves food carts to and from client’s area

Ø  Sets up trays for meals/works tray line position;

Ø  Processes soiled trays, dishes and utensils from carts through dishwasher;

Ø  Assists in the serving of food;

Ø  Prepares snacks and beverages from between-meal service to patients;

Ø  Prepares nutritional supplements and tube feeding products and delivers to customer areas;

Ø  Prepares nutritional supplements and tube feeding products and delivers to customer areas;

Ø  Washes pots, pans and other equipment as necessary;

Ø  Maintains cleanliness and sanitation through entire work areas;

Ø  Performs daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures; Scrubs and mops floors, cleans and sanitizes equipment;

Ø  Performs other tasks as assigned by the Food Service Director;

Ø  Maintains the confidentiality of all protected health information whether electronic, written, or oral exposed to either during the course of assigned duties or as a result of an incidental disclosure;

Ø  Participates in all in­-service activities;

Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or GED

• Must Possess a Genuine and Caring Attitude Towards Seniors

• Able to Lift 25-50 Pounds

• Must abide by NYS vaccine mandate
