Project Estimator

InfraHire is hiring for Project Estimator Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for water system projects using company templates and developing new ones as needed. Manage and update pricing databases for common materials and components. Support project design and planning for domestic, commercial, and agricultural pumping systems, including turbine/submersible pumps, VFDs, pump controls, electric meter service, and piping. Collaborate with Sales Engineers and Project Managers to ensure estimates meet technical and project specifications. Participate in client meetings, site visits, and job walks to collect data for accurate estimating. Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to acquire up-to-date product pricing and specifications. Develop and modify design templates and site layout documents. Research and verify regulatory and permitting requirements for proposed work. Maintain organized project files and ensure documentation accuracy. Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Visio, Irricad, and other digital communication tools. Demonstrate or develop knowledge of pump systems, electrical components, control systems, and water system materials. May expand responsibilities into irrigation system engineering and estimating as skills progress. Requires minimum 5 years' experience in a related industry (agricultural, electrical, mechanical, construction, irrigation, or water). Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking; ability to interpret technical drawings. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred; strong communication and teamwork skills required. Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs, travel to job sites, work in both office and field settings, and work weekends as needed. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
