Senior Accountant

Join Our Team as a Senior Accountant! Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for numbers and financial analysis? General Equipment & Supply is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team in Simpsonville, SC. As a leading provider of tools and equipment for various applications, we are looking for a dedicated professional to help us maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Daily Responsibilities: Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger Perform account reconciliations on a monthly basis Assist with month-end close processes Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Prepare financial statements, balance sheets, and other reports Required Skills: Experience with accounting software and ERP systems Knowledge of accruals, account reconciliation, and fixed assets Strong understanding of internal controls and financial reporting Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred Ability to analyze financial data and provide forecasting insights Public Accounting Full Cycle Accounts Payable 1099 Forms Tax Research Income Tax Preparation Technical Accounting Tax Accounting Corporate Tax Tax Compliance Property Tax Balance Sheet Reconciliation Monthly Accounting Close Payroll Taxes Depreciation General Ledger Reconciliations Corporate Accounting General Accounting Account Analysis Consolidation Year End Closing Financial Operations Bank Reconciliation Variance Analysis Cost Accounting Financial Planning and Analysis Accounts Payable/Receivable Company Information: General Equipment & Supply specializes in providing new, remanufactured, and reconditioned tools and equipment for various applications including conduit bending, cable pulling, pipe threading, lifting, rigging, welding, and material handling.
