• This field-based Business Development Manager role is responsible for driving territory growth across the sign, graphics, and automotive segments by managing and expanding an existing book of business throughout the Arizona market.

Job Summary

• Manage and develop an existing book of business across the Arizona territory, with a focus on growing gross margins within established accounts.
• Conduct 3-4 field days per week, visiting 5-10 customer accounts per day with a primary focus on high-value large prospect accounts.
• Execute a minimum of 20-25 meaningful customer conversations on office days through structured time blocking and proactive outreach.
• Leverage Salesforce to log all customer contacts, update account statuses, plan travel routes, and create follow-up tasks immediately after each interaction.
• Analyze territory sales data regularly to identify trends, evaluate performance, and uncover growth opportunities.
• Conduct bi-weekly territory reviews with an assigned Inside Sales Representative (ISR).
• Respond to all missed calls and texts within 2 hours and emails within 24 hours on travel days.
• Travel approximately 60% of the time, with initial ramp-up travel expectations of 70-80%, plus occasional attendance at team events and bi-annual sales meetings.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2-4 years of B2B sales experience, with demonstrated success in territory or account management, preferably in field-based roles.
• Genuine interest in and appreciation for the automotive industry, including vehicle wraps, color change, and related segments.
• Proficiency with Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel approximately 60% of the time throughout the Arizona Valley.
• Experience managing a territory with a mix of new business development and existing account growth.
• Strong hunter mindset with a proactive, self-directed approach to prospecting and account development.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in industrial distribution or related sectors.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
