Registered Nurse Pulmonary Post Thoracic Surgery

Ascension is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Pulmonary Post Thoracic Surgery unit. In this role, you will provide evidence-based care to adult post-op thoracic and pulmonary patients, including complex assessments, chest tube and drain management, ventilator and oxygen therapy support, and pain control. You will coordinate interdisciplinary care, educate patients and families on recovery and discharge plans, and ensure safe transitions of care. You will also precept new staff, participate in quality and safety initiatives, and contribute to a compassionate, inclusive, and learning-focused environment aligned with Ascension’s mission.
