The ideal candidate will have fellowship training in Colorectal Surgery, though other applicants will be considered based on experience.This position offers the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative team of 4 general surgeons and 6 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) who assist with inpatient care and take first call. The team operates in a collegial environment that promotes high-quality, patient-centered care while fostering professional growth.The practice is supported by a large network of regional primary care providers, ensuring a robust referral base and a growing surgical service line to serve a 300,000 patient population. Key Responsibilities: * Perform colorectal surgeries utilizing advanced robotic, laparoscopic, and endoscopic techniques* Participate in a team-oriented approach to patient care with a focus on high-quality, patient-centered outcomes* Collaborate with a group of surgeons and APPs to manage inpatient care and call coverage* Contribute to the growth and development of the colorectal surgery service line* Engage with a strong network of primary care providers for referrals and continuity of care Qualifications: * Fellowship-trained in Colorectal Surgery preferred* Proficient in robotic, laparoscopic, and endoscopic surgical techniques* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment* Strong commitment to patient care, professional development, and continuous learning Location: The position is located in Elmira, NY, within the picturesque Finger Lakes region.
