Horizon Spring Leaf Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist, with expertise as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), to join our innovative team. This full-time position allows for remote work, offering the flexibility to deliver critical mental health care from the comfort of your home.
About the Organization\nHorizon Spring Leaf Counseling, LLC is committed to providing high-quality mental health services in a supportive and healing environment. Our practice is particularly noted for its integrative approach, focusing on both emotional and physical health, especially within the context of a detox center. We understand the complexities of mental health challenges and strive to deliver a thorough, client-centered therapeutic experience.
Work Environment\nThis role operates in a remote setting, enabling you to effectively manage your work-life balance. You will engage with a diverse range of clients struggling primarily with mood disorders. The collaborative nature of the environment allows for regular interaction with a dedicated team of psychiatrists and healthcare professionals aiming to provide comprehensive care.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n

- Collaborate intimately with clients to create tailored treatment plans that reflect their individual needs, preferences, and therapeutic goals. \n
- Implement effective therapeutic interventions specifically for mood disorders, drawing upon evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). \n
- Educate clients and their family members on mood disorders, detailing available treatment options and self-care techniques to promote healthier lifestyles. \n
- Continuously monitor client progress, providing relevant feedback and adjusting treatment plans dynamically to reflect their evolving needs. \n
- Engage in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other medical personnel to ensure synchronized and holistic client care. \n
- Remain current with advancements in mood disorder treatment by participating in ongoing professional development and research analysis. \n
- Accurately document all client interactions, treatment plans, and assessments in compliance with ethical and legal guidelines. \n
- Participate in team meetings and case consultations to share insights and enhance clinical competencies within the team. \n
- Act as an advocate for clients, working to destigmatize mental health issues and push for adequate resources and support for their needs. \n
The primary focus of this position is on clients experiencing mood disorders, including depression and anxiety, typically in a detoxification and recovery context. You will work with individuals who may be facing additional complexities due to substance use or related issues, requiring a sensitive and informed approach to their mental health care.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution, ensuring a solid educational foundation in mental health practices. \n
- Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT within the state of New York, demonstrating compliance with professional standards and requirements. \n
- Comprehensive knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities for treating mood disorders, including but not limited to CBT and DBT. \n
- A strong understanding of psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists for integrated treatment. \n
- A history of successful outcomes in treating individuals with mood disorders, showcasing proficiency in managing complex cases. \n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients from various backgrounds and walks of life. \n
While a minimum of three years of relevant experience is required, preference will be given to candidates who have additional experience working within detox centers or similar recovery-focused environments.
Compensation and Benefits\nThe position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000, depending on experience and qualifications. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

- Generous paid time off and holiday pay to facilitate a healthy work-life balance. \n
