Pharmacy Supervisor, Medical Plaza Northwest Greensboro

Retail Pharmacy – Greensboro Medical Plaza, Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center – Full‑time position. Responsibilities Makes decisions regarding employment, promotion, discipline, and termination of pharmacy team members in collaboration with Pharmacy Leadership. Evaluates pharmacy team job performance on an annual basis, ensuring compliance with DEA, FDA, and state Board of Pharmacy regulations. Oversees pharmacy staffing and scheduling to ensure safe patient care. Coordinates and integrates interdepartmental and intradepartmental services and participates in various committees. Ensures that policies and procedures promoting safe and effective use of medications are followed. Assists in the planning of new and/or revised pharmacy services based on new innovations, technology and/or regulatory changes. Assesses and improves the performance of the pharmacy services provided, providing an ongoing assessment of care and services through organizational processes. Coordinates the implementation plan and supports decisions made by the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee. Initiates proper training of pharmacy teammates in areas of responsibility. Designs, recommends, monitors and evaluates patient‑specific pharmacotherapeutic regimens. Supervises daily preparation and dispensing of all pharmaceuticals. Assists in the development and implementation of pharmacy departmental policies, procedures, goals and objectives. Assists in the development of professional guidelines to ensure quality pharmacy services. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or a PharmD from an accredited school of pharmacy. Licensed in the applicable state or eligible for reciprocity. Minimum 2 years of work‑related experience in pharmacy. Benefits and Compensation Competitive pay range: $63.45–$95.20 per hour.
