Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Abbott seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for its Casa Grande nutrition manufacturing facility. The role focuses on equipment reliability, maintenance optimization, and continuous improvement across production systems in a regulated healthcare environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute asset reliability strategies; define critical equipment and prioritize based on risk
- Conduct root cause investigations of equipment failures and production issues; recommend corrective actions
- Review and optimize maintenance programs to minimize unplanned downtime and improve MTBF/MTTR metrics
- Collaborate cross-functionally on equipment design improvements and operational procedure changes
- Lead cost reduction and safety initiatives; train maintenance teams on reliability best practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
- 5+ years experience with heavy machinery in regulated manufacturing
- Equipment reliability and asset management expertise
- Root cause analysis and data interpretation skills
- Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- FDA, OSHA, and GMP compliance familiarity
Compensation: $78,000-$156,000 base
