Job Description Summary Job Description Job Summary:** The Manufacturing Engineering Technician 1 supports manufacturing operations by assisting engineers in developing, implementing, and maintaining efficient production processes for medicalimaging systems. This role involves basic troubleshooting, data collection, and process documentation. Job Responsibilities:** Assist manufacturing engineers in the design, development, and improvement of production processes, fixtures, and tooling. Perform basic troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment and processes, escalating complex issues to higher-level technicians or engineers. Collect and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and support process optimization initiatives. Assist in the creation and maintenance of manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams. Conduct time studies and participate in lean manufacturing activities to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Support the implementation and validation of new products and processes on the production floor. Perform routine maintenance and calibration of manufacturing equipment as directed. Adhere to all safety guidelines and quality standards (e.g., ISO 13485, FDA regulations). Collaborate with production personnel to resolve manufacturing issues and ensure smooth operations. Participate in root cause analysis for production defects and non-conformances. Job Qualifications:** Associate's degree in a technical field (e.g., Manufacturing Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology) or equivalent vocational training and experience. 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a medical device or electronics industry. Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints. Proficiency with basic hand tools and measurement equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers). Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions. Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel). Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
