We are currently seeking a CNC Mill Machinist for our Shields Manufacturing facility in Tualatin Oregon. (On-site position)

We have an immediate opportunity for multiple CNC Mill Machinists on the swing shift. These team members will carry out a variety of tasks in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment.

CNC Mill Machinist (Levels 1-3) - CNC Mill Machinist

• Ability to read and understand drawings
• Starts and observes machine operation
• Calculates and set controls to regulate machining factors
• Process offset changes unassisted
• Check parts using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring devices.
• Verify conformance of completed work
• Working on vertical mills, Haas and Brother machines...multiple machines at a time.

Requirements:

• Extensive machine shop/metal working skills
• Possesses the ability to work with decimals
• Comfortable working with close tolerances (thousandths)
• Ability to set up your own jobs and run first part
• Ability to adjust programs if required
