Accounting Supervisor

Supervisor, Accounting What You’ll Do Oversee the preparation and review of monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, variance analyses, property/tenant statistics, and general ledger reconciliations Manage tax preparation and REIT testing processes Supervise and review the work of Property Accountants, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards Take ownership of more complex property financial statements and reporting Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 5-7 years of general ledger and financial statement preparation experience, ideally in a property management or real estate environment Public Accounting experience preferred Extensive experience with GAAP and REIT testing Prior management or supervisory experience preferred We expect every WS employee to feel welcomed and valued irrespective of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age, veteran status, marital status, parental status, cultural background and life experiences.
