Procurement Specialist

Overview We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage end-to-end procurement activities supporting multiple programs across a large enterprise network. This role will serve as a primary procurement point of contact for program teams, hardware and deployment stakeholders, and external suppliers, ensuring accurate purchase orders and timely equipment delivery. Why This Role Is Interesting Support multiple programs and work with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. Own procurement execution from purchase order creation through equipment delivery. Play a key role in identifying and escalating supply risks before they impact deployment timelines. Gain exposure to enterprise procurement systems and processes. Core Responsibilities Manage procurement activities for at least three programs. Review program deployment schedules and ensure purchase orders accurately reflect operational requirements. Issue and maintain purchase orders based on deployment timelines. Coordinate supplier deliveries and track progress against required dates. Identify delivery and supply risks and proactively elevate issues to engineering and deployment teams. Perform root‑cause analysis to resolve procurement and supply issues. Communicate clearly with stakeholders and suppliers regarding schedules, risks, and required actions. Maintain accurate procurement information and support timely execution across assigned programs. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. 1+ year of experience in procurement or purchasing. Strong business communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly. Experience with procurement platforms or ERP systems. Basic Microsoft Office/Excel skills. Technical literacy and ability to perform detailed root‑cause analysis. Preferred Qualifications Experience with enterprise procurement systems such as Coupa, Oracle, Kinaxis, or Teamcenter. Basic engineering knowledge, such as familiarity with actuators or PCBA components. Experience working in a large enterprise procurement environment. Top Skills Procurement & Purchase Order Management Supplier & Stakeholder Communication Risk Identification & Root‑Cause Analysis Work Environment Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00/8:30 AM–5:00 PM with some flexibility. Primarily an independent, corporate procurement desk role with regular cross‑functional collaboration. Approximately 1 hour of overtime per week may be needed. Training includes virtual system training, one week of peer shadowing, one week of reverse shadowing, followed by independent execution. Systems may include Coupa, Oracle, Kinaxis, Enovia, and Teamcenter.
