- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, and grounds.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure facilities meet safety and operational standards.
- Assist with HVAC system maintenance and troubleshooting (HVAC Certification required).
- Help supervise maintenance operations when the Facility Manager is unavailable .
- Monitor and inspect the work of maintenance staff and outside contractors to ensure quality.
- Recommend replacement equipment and facility improvements when needed.
- Support hands-on training for Job Corps students participating in work-based learning.
- Ensure compliance with safety codes, operational policies, and facility standards .
- Collaborate with staff across departments to maintain a safe and welcoming campus environment .
- HVAC Certification (Required)
- Experience in building maintenance, mechanical systems, or facility operations
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and complete repairs independently
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and preventive maintenance
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, climbing, walking, and working with tools
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to mentor students and support staff
