As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help maintain a welcoming, controlled environment by verifying credentials, managing badge access, monitoring entry points, and communicating professionally with employees and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMTue02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records. Control access for vehicles, deliveries, and contractors in accordance with established procedures, communicating with site contacts as needed. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, business areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
