Phlebotomist IIPride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist II to support our client's healthcare facility in Columbia, MD. This is a 13 weeks contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment.Job Details: Schedule: Monday–Friday, variable schedule between 6:30 AM–6:00 PM Location: Columbia, MD 21045 Float / Coverage Area: Columbia, Ellicott City, and Elkridge, MD Job Type: Local contract Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay Range: $21-25/hour + Mileage Reimbursement Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.Duties:Perform blood draws and specimen collection accurately and efficiently.Collect specimens from patients across all age groups, from pediatrics through geriatrics.Perform venipunctures, including challenging or hard-stick collections.Process specimens according to established procedures and quality standards.Provide professional and compassionate customer service to patients.Explain collection procedures and help patients feel comfortable throughout the process.Work independently at some locations and as part of a team at others.Adapt quickly to different PSC and IOP environments and staffing needs.Maintain accuracy, patient safety, and specimen integrity throughout the collection process.Requirements:Education: High School Diploma or GED required.Years of experience: Minimum 2 years of phlebotomy experience.Skills/Specialties/Technology: Experience drawing patients across pediatric through geriatric age groups.Equal Employment Opportunity Fair Chance Employment Accommodations
