Warehouse Technician

Kurt J. Lesker Company (KJLC) is seeking a Warehouse Technician to join our Warehouse Team . The Warehouse Technician works onsite at our Glassport, PA facility and plays a critical role in daily warehouse operations , order fulfillment, and shipping support. This position is responsible for picking, packing, and processing sales and production orders to ensure accurate, timely domestic and international shipments in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Reports to: Receiving Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pull, and stage sales and production orders using pick lists and work instructions
• Accurately pack and prepare domestic and international shipments to ensure safe, cost-effective delivery
• Process outbound shipments using common carrier systems such as UPS, FedEx, and related shipping software
• Post packing slips, shipment details, and inventory transactions in the ERP system
• Perform general warehouse duties, including inventory organization, product rotation, cycle counts, and material handling
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area
• Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and departmental work instructions
• Support continuous warehouse operations and assist with other duties as assigned

Required

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic computer skills and ability to work with shipping and inventory systems
• Ability to perform physical job requirements, including standing, walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, and lifting
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs unassisted; assistance required for heavier items (over 60 lbs)
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

Preferred

• Previous warehouse, distribution, or shipping/receiving experience
• Advanced computer or ERP system experience
