# Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) RN – Float Pool – Georgia**Start Date:** November 2, 2026**Location:** Atlanta, Georgia**Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants**Schedule:** Float Pool assignment to all PCU/IMCU units; patient ratio 1:3-4; minimal time off requests**Highlights:**- Float to progressive care and intermediate care units specializing in cardiac populations- Manage patients with STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiac thoracic surgery cases, and chest pain protocols- Administer cardiac drips including Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors- May be assigned to telemetry beds within the same units for lower acuity patients- Work with EPIC Electronic Medical Record system- Competitive patient ratios allowing for quality, focused care delivery**Requirements:**- Current Georgia RN license or compact state license eligible for endorsement- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required- Minimum of 2 years progressive care or cardiac nursing experience in a similarly sized facility- Float pool or multi-unit experience strongly preferred- Badge-appropriate photo and complete demographic information required for credentialing**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**This Float Pool position offers experienced cardiac nurses the opportunity to diversify their clinical skills across multiple progressive care environments while working with a complex cardiac patient population.
