Data Visualization Engineer

Data Visualization Engineer – Army Vantage All Candidates must be a US Citizen and possess an Active Secret Security Clearance before applying. The Data Visualization Engineer supports Army Vantage by creating intuitive, user-friendly dashboards and visual products that help Army leaders make data-driven decisions. This role focuses on delivering analytical tools, data visualizations, and insights to improve operational awareness and decision-making. Key Responsibilities Develop and deliver dashboards that provide timely, actionable insights for Army operations Create visualizations that simplify complex data for technical and non-technical users Integrate dashboards into platforms such as SharePoint or other Army systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analysts, engineers, and stakeholders Maintain documentation, definitions, and consistency of metrics across systems Support data-driven decision-making by presenting clear and meaningful insights Assist in improving data visualization processes and tools Qualifications Bachelor's degree in: Analytics Information Systems Human-Computer Interaction Design or a related field Required Experience Experience with Power BI, data visualization tools, and dashboard development Ability to build polished, production-ready dashboards Work in collaborative, team-based environments Support operational or analytical use cases Skills Strong visual design and storytelling skills Experience with data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI) Ability to translate complex data into clear insights Strong communication and collaboration skills Active Secret Clearance (required) Ad-Hoc Research is an Equal Opportunity Employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin.
