We consider it a privilege to work with our customers on their greatest challenges.Job DescriptionTrusted Space is seeking a Senior Imaging Scientist with a Bachelor's degree or higher with 8+ years of combined experience. This position is primarily remote but will require the willingness to travel to Chantilly, VA for occasional onsite support.ResponsibilitiesDevelopment and testing of imagery simulation software and custom image processing software.Development of sensor performance modeling and simulation capabilities.Performing analysis of different sensors leveraging modeling and simulation capabilities.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Imaging Science, Optics, Astrophysics, or Aerospace Engineering8+ years' experience developing software in the Python programming language, image processing, and sensor performance modeling.An active Top Secret clearance with SCIDesired SkillsMaster's or PhD degree in Imaging Science, Optics, Astrophysics, or Aerospace EngineeringExperience developing image processing for astronomy and/or spacecraft detectionExperience in modeling and simulating imagery with spacecraftExperience in CUDA Programming and open-source libraries leveraging GPUsCompensationThe salary range for this role is $150,000 - $200,000. Please note that this range is a general guideline and can vary.
