Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum Registered Nurse (LDRP RN)
We are seeking an experienced Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum Registered Nurse (LDRP RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and the ability to provide high-quality care in a dynamic environment.
Unit Information
- 30-37 births per month
- 5-bed unit
- Medication administration support in a Med-Surg capacity as needed
- Opportunities for overtime due to increased patient volume
Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns
- Assist with deliveries and postpartum care in accordance with established protocols
- Administer medications and monitor patients during labor and delivery
- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Labor Delivery Recovery Postpartum (LDRP) setting required
- Current NRP and STABLE certifications (Instructor Certification accepted for online courses only)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Familiarity with MediTech and OBIX charting systems
Housing Options
Housing is provided free of charge, or alternative housing can be arranged in Bloomington (35 minutes east) or Champaign (40 minutes south).
