Performs walk-through inspections of the entire mill, checking and reporting any malfunctions; repairs/troubleshoot when needed.
Major tasks include:
- Perform walk-through inspections of the entire mill, check for any malfunctions, report, or repair/troubleshoot, when needed.
- Coordinate work schedule with fellow millwrights, based on current work need or malfunctions, and help with work, or oversee the maintenance on specific areas.
- Communicate with lead millwright, production line supervisor, equipment operators, electricians, and any other maintenance personnel, as is required by specific tasks.
- Consider hazards and safe work actions before performing assignments.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years millwright experience preferably in wood products or manufacturing setting.
- Be able to work shift work and weekends.
- Pass pre-employment drug test and background check.
