Automotive PainterWe are seeking an experienced Automotive Painter to join our collision repair team. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing high-quality finishes, has experience with vehicle preparation and paint application, and thrives in a fast-paced body shop environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking, cleaning, and priming.Mix paint to manufacturer specifications and accurately match vehicle colors.Apply primer, base coat, and clear coat using professional spray equipment.Inspect painted surfaces for quality and correct imperfections through buffing or polishing.Maintain paint booth cleanliness and follow all safety procedures.Collaborate with body technicians to meet production schedules.Maintain tools, equipment, and paint inventory.QualificationsPrevious automotive painting experience in a collision repair or body shop.Knowledge of paint preparation, refinishing, and color matching.Experience using spray guns and paint booth equipment.Attention to detail and commitment to quality.Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.Preferred ExperienceWaterborne or solvent-based paint systems.Collision repair environment.Buffing and polishing experience.I-CAR or OEM training is a plus.Physical RequirementsStand for extended periods.Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.Work safely while wearing required PPE.
