Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
• Completion of fellowship training in either Geriatric Neurology or Behavioral Neurology.

Opportunity Details

• A two-year income guarantee of $340,000.
• A recruitment incentive of $100,000.

Our neurology practice is a comprehensive multispecialty facility with a statewide referral network. With ten neurologists and four advanced practice providers, we address a wide range of neurological conditions across various specialties. We are recognized as an MS Center of Excellence by The Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers. Opportunities for outreach and tele-neurology are available, and our team includes three neuropsychologists who conduct extensive testing. Our practice collaborates closely with departments such as Neurosurgery, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Pain Medicine. We are also actively involved in clinical research and serve as faculty for residents in Family Medicine, Psychiatry, and Internal Medicine, as well as medical students from Des Moines University.

Our medical center in Des Moines consists of four hospitals in central and southern Iowa, totaling 875 beds, and manages 16 rural hospitals. The main facility is a Level II Trauma center with 550 beds, serving a tertiary area of 1.4 million and hosting one of Iowa's busiest emergency departments. We have received the Get With The Guidelines-Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award from the American Stroke Association and are certified as an Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center.
