Mammography Technologist - RT (R) - Will Train!

Additional Information About the Role BJC HealthCare System is hiring a Full-Time Mammography Technologist - RT (R) for Barnes-Jewish Hospital - ACC Breast Center Position Details:

• Day Shift Hours: Mon - Fri at rotating shifts between 7am & 4:30pm with two Saturdays a year
• Location: Rotates between Siteman Cancer Center in the GCW Building & Center for Advanced medicine Building with the option to also rotate to our South County, Highlands Screening Center , or the Mammography Van
• Performs screening and diagnostic mammograms, with the ability to learn additional responsibilities of Localizations, and stereotactic and Contrast Enhanced (CEM) biopsies.
• RT (M) Certification - preferred but not required
• Willing to Train for Mammography (M)!!!
• Mammography Technologist, Mammographer, Mammo Tech

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency
• R.T. (R) registry

Next Steps: * If selected to move forward with Interview Process, a Talent Advisor will contact you via email for a screen Overview Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control. Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.

Minimum Requirements Education * Associate or Trade School Equi Experience * No Experience Supervisor Experience * No Experience Licenses & Certifications * IEMA - Illinois only, excl MRI

* RTR,CT,MR,M,BD,CI,VI,RCIS,RCES

Preferred Requirements Experience * <2 years Licenses & Certifications

• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
• Intravenous Therapy
