As an Activities Aide, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic activities to our residents, promoting their physical, mental, and psycho-social well-being.
Job Summary
The Activities Aide provides individualized activities to residents, designed to meet their interests and improve their overall well-being. You will create programs that assist residents in maintaining lifelong interests and self-esteem, while promoting physical, cognitive, and emotional functioning. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents and be part of our dynamic and supportive team.
Responsibilities
Provide therapeutic activities to residents, such as recreational games, arts and crafts, and social events
Develop and implement individualized activity programs that meet the unique needs and interests of each resident
Collaborate with other departments to ensure that activities are integrated into the overall care plan
Maintain accurate records of resident participation and activity programs
Ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all residents

Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent required
Education in a related field, certification as an Activities Professional, and/or experience with older adults helpful
