Location: Hollis, Queens, NY 11423
Pay: $130 to $140 per hour
Schedule: 9 hours per week - Monday and Wednesday 4:30pm to 7:30pm, Saturday 9am to 12pm
Job Type: 1099 contract
About Climbing Star
Climbing Star provides home-based ABA, speech, occupational and physical therapy to children and young adults with autism across New York. We work with a carefully managed caseload and match clinicians to cases deliberately, because the right fit is what drives outcomes.
When a family lets you into their home, they are trusting you with something important, and we take that seriously when we hire.
THE CASE
We have one in-person case in Hollis, Queens, providing direct BCBA services in the client's home.
The schedule is fixed and predictable: Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 4:30 to 7:30, and Saturday mornings from 9 to 12. Nine hours a week, the same three blocks every week.
That consistency suits an experienced BCBA who wants a steady, well-supported case alongside an existing schedule, rather than a caseload that shifts week to week.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Provide direct in-person BCBA services in the client's home
Conduct assessments as needed (FBA and related tools)
Develop, update and monitor the individualized treatment and behavior intervention plan
Review data and adjust the program based on client progress
Work closely with the family to keep goals clear and consistent
Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Active BCBA certification, in good standing (required)
Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in New York State (required)
Able to be on-site in Hollis, Queens for the scheduled hours (required)
Strong clinical judgment and the ability to manage a case independently
Experience with adolescents or more complex cases is a plus
Familiarity with CentralReach is helpful but not required
