Highlights: Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) role in a 22-bed Critical Access hospital setting Comprehensive OB nursing including triage, labor management, recovery, postpartum care, and newborn care Epic charting system with modern equipment including wireless fetal monitoring and JADA device for PPH management Patient ratios vary from 1:1 to 1:6 depending on acuity; average daily census of 2 Float responsibilities limited to skill-based support (IV starts, phone coverage) without full patient assignments in other areas One pre-approved time off request available during contract period Requirements: Active Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission) Minimum 3 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in LDRP/OB Previous travel experience required – seasoned travelers only Certifications: BLS, NRP required; CLC and STABLE preferred Epic charting system experience required Skills: Labor and delivery, circulating for C-sections, sterile vaginal exams, triage of obstetrical patients, newborn care Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years Must pass background screening (facility does not accept certain background exceptions) Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers experienced LDRP nurses the chance to utilize their full scope of practice in a supportive Critical Access hospital environment.
