Ambassador Personnel is seeking reliable Fruit Inspectors/Graders to join a fast-paced production team in Alma, GA. Weekend Off! Great Benefits!

Position Summary:

The Fruit Grader is responsible for inspecting, sorting, and grading fresh blueberries and grapes on the production line to ensure all products meet company quality, food safety, and customer specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a cold and fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect blueberries and grapes for quality, size, color, firmness, and overall appearance.

Remove defective product, including soft, shriveled, moldy, split, or damaged fruit.

Ensure fruit is free from foreign material (leaves, stems, debris, insects, etc.)

Sort fruit according to grade standards.

Follow all food safety, and hygiene procedures.

Report quality issues or unusual product conditions to quality control, or production lead.

Keep work area clean and organized in compliance with GMP standards

Follow all safety rules and wear required PPE (smock, gloves, hairnet, etc.)

 

Qualifications:

Experience in fruit handling or food production is preferred but not required.

Strong attention to detail and visual inspection skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Basic understanding of food safety practices (GMP/HACCP).

Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods (8–12 hours).

Repetitive hand and arm movements.

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. occasionally.

Ability to work in cold or refrigerated environments

Work Environment:

Food production and packing facility.

Cool temperatures to maintain product quality.

Moderate to high noise levels.

Fast-paced production line.

Performance Expectations:

Maintain high accuracy in grading and defect removal.

Follow all food safety and company policies.

Work effectively as part of a team.
