Driver (No - CDL)

Working as a Full-time Driver (DOT-No CDL), you will be representing the Fastenal fleet as it delivers from its Fastenal Distribution Centers to its branches and customer on-site locations. You will operate a safe, well-maintained and late model straight truck. Delivery trucks are pre-loaded, in order of delivery, prior to departure, and you will be responsible for unloading the freight at each stop along your route; most routes average 10-12 stops. The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Providing excellent service to our branches and customers by delivering product in a prompt, efficient manner
• Utilizing a handheld scanner
• Unloading product from trucks by hand, pallet jack, or by forklift
• Interacting with our shipping and receiving departments
• Maintaining a clean work environment within our equipment
• Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of work area
• Complying with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectations
• Participating in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety and sustainability objectives
• Learning, passing, and practicing various environmental health and safety trainings

The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:

• 18 years of age or over, due to the nature of work
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Possess a current valid Driver's License in good standing
• Possess a current health card OR have the ability to obtain one
• Meet Fastenal driving record requirements
• Possess strong working knowledge of the DOT regulations in regards to a DOT-No CDL Driver
• Maintain DOT regulated Drivers Hours-of-Service
• Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
• Lift up to 60 lbs. and maneuver up to 150 lbs.
• Successfully complete the required DOT drug and alcohol screens, road test, employment verification and background check

Fastenal offers a competitive benefits package to all full-time employees. The base pay range for this position is $42,000 - 59,000. In addition to base pay, this position is also eligible for a bonus and/or commission.
