Job Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) position within the Enterprise Central Resource Pool (CRP) is a specialized role where qualified nursing professionals are allocated to various units throughout the organization based on their clinical skills, expertise, and the needs of the units. This role involves applying the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to deliver personalized care to patients.

Collaboration with inter-professional teams, including physicians, is essential for planning, executing, and assessing patient care. The RN will demonstrate proficiency and operate within the full spectrum of nursing knowledge, adhering to age and population-specific standards relevant to their assigned clinical environment. Responsibilities include caring for patients at all stages of preventive care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up as they progress through the continuum of care.

Key responsibilities encompass:

• Planning and coordinating patient care
• Conducting patient assessments
• Providing patient education
• Triage and various nursing interventions

The RN will function in accordance with the nursing practice standards as defined by the Nurse Practice Act and Administrative Rules in the state of practice. Our organization recognizes the Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses as established by the American Nurses Association, which serve as the foundation for nursing care delivery and professional behavior. Work hours may vary based on patient and unit requirements, potentially including overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• A degree from a nursing program accredited by the National League of Nursing (NLN) or the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) is highly preferred. A Bachelor's Degree in nursing is also preferred.
• At least one year of nursing experience is preferred.
• Must possess an unencumbered RN license from the State Board of Nursing in the state where practice occurs, or hold multistate licensure if practicing in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state.
• Required to obtain and maintain department-specific competencies and certifications, such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) as applicable to the assignment.
