Job Description
ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment, providing high-quality care to critically ill patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions.

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, recording relevant data and reporting changes to the healthcare team.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed while adhering to safety protocols.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatment plans, and ongoing care.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

Requirements

Current ACLS and BLS certification.
Experience with Cerner electronic medical records system is preferred.
An active nursing license and permanent address located 50+ miles from the facility.
Must be willing to float to other units as necessary.
A minimum of 1 year of ICU nursing experience is required.

Scheduling

This position offers a day shift schedule from 7 am to 7 pm. The facility can accommodate requests for up to 48 hours per week based on availability.

Additional Information

Scrub colors and dress code will be provided upon onboarding.
Parking information will be shared with the successful candidate prior to start.
