What You’ll Be Doing Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns Perform general automotive repairs Complete preventative maintenance services Perform full vehicle inspections Handle removal and replacement work Complete larger mechanical repairs as qualified Review repair needs and communicate findings clearly Use digital vehicle inspection software Work primarily on domestic and Asian vehicles Occasionally service European and fleet vehicles Maintain accurate repair documentation Work closely with the service advisor and other technicians The workload is approximately evenly divided between diagnostics and maintenance. Shop Equipment and Technology Four service bays Four vehicle lifts Alignment rack Heated and air‑conditioned work area Matco and Autel scan tools Factory‑level diagnostic capabilities for Ford, GM, Toyota, Jeep, and Chrysler AutoServe1 digital vehicle inspections Professional shop management software NAPA AutoCare and TechNet affiliated facility What We’re Looking For At least 5 years of professional automotive repair experience Strong diagnostic and mechanical repair skills Ability to work independently Ability to perform both maintenance and advanced repairs Valid driver’s license Ability to pass a background check Preferred Qualifications ASE certifications Digital vehicle inspection experience Electrical and drivability diagnostic experience Experience in an independent repair shop Broad experience across multiple makes and models Preferable: DVI experience is helpful but not required.
