Regulatory Affairs Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in the healthcare industry, is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join their team. As a Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you will be part of the Regulatory Affairs department supporting global product registration and compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong critical thinking skills, and excellent time management abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Regulatory Affairs Specialist
Location: Remote
Pay Range: $28-$32/hr
Duration: 12 months (potential to extend)
What's the Job?
Participate in global healthcare spin-offs by supporting regulatory registration efforts for medical devices.
Evaluate product changes related to rebranding and assess their impact on existing licenses with Health Canada.
Update technical documentation to reflect new legal manufacturer information and route documents for approval.
Coordinate with international regulatory teams to ensure timely submissions and compliance.
Respond to global regulatory requests by locating and providing necessary documentation for in-country submissions.
What's Needed?
Bachelor's Degree or higher in Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, or a related technical field from an accredited university.
2-3 years of experience in regulatory affairs within the medical device industry.
Direct experience with submissions to Health Canada.
Proven ability to author technical documentation and support international registrations.
Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and effective time management skills.
