Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) | 48 Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned group of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process
• Monitor and care for telemetry and cardiac patients, with the ability to float to a Medical/Surgical unit as needed
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Coordinate patient care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment
• Interpret EKG readings and perform IV therapy as part of ongoing patient monitoring and treatment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
• Minimum of 2 years of Telemetry nursing experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS)
• Demonstrated proficiency in EKG interpretation and IV therapy

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior experience in an acute care facility setting
