Shipping & Printing Specialist – The UPS Store

North Scottsdale, AZ 85255

The UPS Store in North Scottsdale is hiring reliable, friendly, and motivated individuals to join

our team as Retail Associates. We are looking for customer-focused team members who enjoy

helping people and working in a fast-paced retail environment.

This is a great opportunity to build valuable skills in shipping, printing, customer service,

business services, and notary services. We provide hands-on training and support for

employees to grow within our business.

Please Note: This position is with The UPS Store, a locally owned and operated retail business.

This is not a UPS Hub or warehouse package handler position. Our services include retail

shipping, printing, mailbox services, notary services, and small business solutions.

Position Responsibilities

As a Retail Associate, you will:

● Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with shipping, printing,

mailbox, notary, and other business service needs

● Process domestic and international shipments using carrier systems

● Pack and prepare customer items according to shipping guidelines

● Operate store equipment including computers, POS systems, copiers, printers, scanners,

fax machines, laminators, and binding equipment

● Assist customers with printing projects, document services, business cards, signs, and

other print solutions

● Become a commissioned Notary Public after joining our team

● Complete required notary training and certification process with our guidance and

support

● Perform professional notary services for customers once certified

● Handle cash, credit card transactions, and daily retail operations

● Maintain accurate records and ensure a clean, organized, and professional store

environment

● Assist with opening, closing, and general store operations

Qualifications

● High school diploma or GED required

● Previous retail, customer service, office, or sales experience preferred

● Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software systems

● Friendly, professional, and customer-focused attitude

● Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

● Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy retail environment

● Ability to stand for extended periods and lift packages up to 50 lbs. repeatedly

● Good typing skills and basic math skills required

● Must be willing and able to become a Notary Public after hire (training and assistance

with obtaining certification provided)

Experience in any of the following is a plus:

● Shipping and logistics

● Printing, graphic design, or document production

● Notary services

● Mailbox rental services

● Retail sales or small business services
