Director, HTA, Value & Evidence, Obesity Early Pipeline

Provide strategic input into clinical trial designs and analysis to enable successful negotiations, reimbursement, and appropriate patient access Lead development of evidence generation strategies for Internal Medicine assets, focusing on obesity and non-obesity products Coordinate input from local country and regional teams and incorporate it into global market access evidence strategies Lead design and execution of global HEOR studies, including network meta-analyses, non-interventional studies, and economic models, from concept through publication Develop patient-reported outcomes strategies and incorporate humanistic and economic endpoints into clinical trials Oversee customer-facing dissemination of HEOR materials in accordance with regulatory guidance and internal SOPs Develop strategic partnerships and research collaborations with external experts, healthcare policymakers, payers, and academic and community settings Manage health economics and outcomes research to generate data supporting patient access to Pfizer’s early-pipeline products Manage multiple complex projects, including contracting, budgeting, vendor management, stakeholder engagement, and technical deliverables Guide junior team members and lead cross-functional collaboration across medical, clinical, commercial, access strategy, pricing, statistics, country, and regional teams Requirements Graduate degree required, such as MSc, MPH, or PhD 7+ years of experience with an MSc, MPH, or MBA degree; or 5+ years with a PharmD, PhD, or DrPH in HEOR or related fields Experience in health economics, epidemiology, health services research, or another research-focused public health field Expertise in HEOR strategy, evidence development, health services research methods, health economic modeling, patient-reported outcomes, statistics, and real-world evidence studies Knowledge of registries and observational study design, implementation, analysis, and interpretation Ability to independently manage complex non-interventional study projects Knowledge and understanding of the drug development process Excellent oral and written English communication skills Ability to assess project and program value, align work with business priorities, and prioritize accordingly Strong project management abilities, including contracting, budgeting, and vendor management Ability to manage multiple complex projects involving significant budgets, competing deadlines, shifting priorities, and stakeholder engagement Experience leading cross-functional teams and guiding junior team members Ability to function effectively within a matrix organization Organized and detail-oriented, proactive, and able to anticipate and resolve needs Comfortable responding to unexpected demands and tight timelines Ability to travel domestically and internationally Ability to work in all U.S. time zones Candidates must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer Permanent work authorization in the United States required; U.S. work visa sponsorship is unavailable Preferred: knowledge and experience in obesity/internal medicine, HTA organizations, early-stage development, clinical trials, patient-reported outcomes, early economic models, global launch support, and generative AI tools Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) with a focus on evidence generation strategies, project management, and cross-functional collaboration.
