This role will own Kubernetes environments, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platform operations in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate brings strong automation discipline and experience operating production-grade distributed systems.ResponsibilitiesDesign, deploy, and operate Kubernetes clusters in production environmentsBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support secure and repeatable deploymentsImplement and manage service mesh architectures using IstioAdminister and optimize Google Cloud Platform infrastructureIntegrate Jira workflows into development and release processesMonitor, troubleshoot, and improve reliability, performance, and securityCollaborate with engineering teams to implement infrastructure as code and automation standardsAdditional duties as requiredMinimum Requirements5 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering3 years of hands-on Kubernetes administration in production environments3 years of experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines3 years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)2 years of experience implementing and managing Istio service meshExperience administering Jira for engineering workflow managementPreferred QualificationsExperience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform or similar)Experience with container security and vulnerability managementExperience supporting microservices-based architecturesGoogle Cloud Professional certificationExperience operating highly available distributed systemsAbout ReplyReply specializes in the design and implementation of solutions based on new communication channels and digital media. Compensation decisions are supported through market data, where regional variances may exist based on cost of labor. We also take into consideration prior experience, relevant skills, education and/or training, certifications and, as applicable, other required qualifications.
