LEAD TEACHER

About This Role Lilly Gardens Learning Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Teacher for our family childcare program. This role involves leading a mixed‑age group, creating a nurturing home‑like environment, and implementing engaging, age‑appropriate activities. The ideal candidate is reliable, organized, and meets Wisconsin Lead Teacher qualifications with experience in a licensed childcare setting. What You'll Do Plan and implement age‑appropriate activities for a mixed‑age group Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing home‑like environment Supervise children at all times and ensure their well‑being Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development Maintain daily reports, attendance, and required documentation Communicate effectively with families regarding children’s progress Ensure compliance with Wisconsin childcare licensing regulations Assist with meals, routines, and daily transitions Requirements Must meet Wisconsin Lead Teacher qualifications (Registry Level preferred) Experience working in a licensed family childcare or center setting Strong leadership and classroom management skills Ability to care for a mixed‑age group of children CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Reliable, organized, and professional Able to pass background check and meet all state licensing requirements Valid driver’s license preferred, but not required Nice To Haves Registry Level 4 or higher Associate’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field Experience in a family childcare setting Knowledge of Wisconsin childcare licensing rules Experience with lesson planning and curriculum development Strong communication and parent engagement skills Bilingual (Spanish or another language) Experience with behavior guidance and social‑emotional learning Benefits Flexible schedule Competitive pay based on experience Supportive, family‑oriented work environment Opportunities for growth and advancement Ongoing training and professional development Flexible scheduling (if applicable) Direct deposit available #J-18808-Ljbffr Miami Valley Child Development Centers, Inc.
